Getco offers customized options for any unique situation. We provide custom castings, forgings, and fabrications built to your exact specifications. We also provide metallurgical testing for comparison and technical analysis. If you need a one-of-a-kind part made, or just need to make an exact replica of an existing part, we can extract the chemical composition and analyze its physical properties to make the part custom for you. Additionally, we can fabricate an existing design with a different chemical composition than is standard.
The addition of tungsten carbide gives tools increased in surface hardness and resistance to abrasion, while retaining the strength and toughness of the original material. Tungsten carbide is applied to localized areas on the cutting, relief, or forming edges of steel tools. This process increases wear life two to three times, increases production efficiency, and saves on tool cost. Getco can apply tungsten carbide to a variety of tools.
